About the role:

As Service Manager, you are responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction and market recognition as a service provider by guiding your team in excelling objectives.

People Management and development:

  • Develop your service team, both field service engineers as local support team, and ensure sufficient knowledge and expertise is present to support customers in all phases of their systems lifecycle;
  • Recruit, develop and coach the engineers team, to achieve the highest level of professional performance and behavior towards customers (internal and external);

Planning and organisation:

  • Project and resources monitoring in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Follow-up progress, manage bottlenecks and detect, discuss and implement efficiency opportunities;

Customer contact:

  • Securing customer satisfaction by recognizing and addressing their operational needs;
  • Direct customer contact will be part of this role, mostly remotely, however sometimes face-to-face contact is preferred;
  • You will be the customer’s escalation point for technical issues;

Commercial follow-up:

  • Be the linking pin between sales and service, synchronizing information from the field with new opportunities at sales;
  • Have a supportive role in selling services, both directly and in cooperation with our local sales force and the contract manager.

For succeeding in this position, you will need:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering, Process Automation, Computer Programming, Computer Networks or Electrical Engineering;
  • Strong people management experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in process industry projects is preferred;
  • Verbal and written communication skills fluent in Dutch and English; Intermediate French preferred.
