Your main responsibilities are:

We are looking for an experienced International Account Manager responsible for sales activities and performance in assigned markets. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan and sales strategy to achieve the company's sales objectives and profitability. The candidate will also contribute to the development of education and training programs as well as provide sales and marketing support for existing and new customers. Furthermore, he/she is also responsible for maintaining and further developing existing relationships. Additionally, the International Account Manager is responsible for acquiring new customers and develop additional business in the various business channels and target groups.

  • Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve company goals and profitability.
  • Assist resellers with account strategies, planning, and administrative tasks to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare action plans for sales leads and prospects, and coordinate the development of tactical plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Participate in sales training and orientation programs for new resellers and act as a resource for contract opportunities and proposals.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to stay informed on selling and marketing programs.
  • Coordinate and lead sales meetings, staying informed of new products, services, and other information of interest to customers.
  • Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining and assisting resellers in attaining new accounts.
  • Troubleshoot problems, answer questions, and handle complaints from resellers.
  • Provide timely feedback on performance and accurate competitive pricing.
  • Manage expenses within budget guidelines.

Our ideal candidate has the following competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent by experience.
  • At least five years of relevant sales experience in an international environment and in supplier relationship management.
  • Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to work efficiently and safely.
  • Professional maturity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to company beliefs, mission, and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Willing to frequently travel abroad.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and French.
